The revision of the second edition of the handbook mainly focuses on (1) adjusting the applicable lower limit of reinforcement materials in accordance with the 2023 edition of the concrete structure design code, (2) revising the shear strength formula of beams and columns, (3) revising the relevant design provisions on the development and anchoring length of reinforcement and the mechanical splice according to the domestic test verification data.
